2018 Milan International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition (PLAST 2018) will be held May 29, 2018 – June 1, as of June 30, 2017, more than 1,000 companies have confirmed the exhibitors.
Alessandro Grassi, Chairman of Promaplast srl, the organizer of the show, expressed his satisfaction with the booking of the booth: “Although almost a year has passed since the show was unveiled, nearly 90% of the booths have been booked. The demand for booths by foreign exhibitors has increased substantially by 34% , Highlighting the international status of the show. “In addition, the number of exhibitors also increased over the past, especially the number of foreign exhibitors increased by 15%.
Booths are expected to increase in all regions and the number of exhibits is also increasing. The range of exhibits includes machinery, equipment, molds (eg injection molding, extrusion, etc.) for various manufacturing processes, plastics and rubber raw materials, additives and more.
The organizer of the exhibition has now allocated the booths to divide the exhibition space by exhibition category. Exhibitors will be notified before the end of August, but the exhibitors can still reserve booths.
The show will be held for the first time in conjunction with IPACK-IMA, MEAT-TECH, PRINT4ALL and INTRALOGISTICA ITALIA at ITALY. These exhibitions will focus on demonstrating advanced technologies from different industries, from plastic rubber processing to industrial modeling; from production to packaging; from packaging customization to handling and storage of goods.
By then, the RUBBER 2018 (in collaboration with ASSOGOMMA), 3D PLAST (3D printing and related technologies), and PLAST-MAT (innovative materials) will also feature three pavilions.
Alessandro Grassi said: “In the first quarter of 2017, the Italian plastics and rubber processing machinery industry both achieved a record double-digit growth in both exports and imports, hoping the show would be a success in such a favorable industry context.”
